Delta Sigma Theta Shield
WELL. I originally started this slide as just some basic things to point out on this shield that are ungodly. But after one of my typical research sessions....look-a-here! So the false goddess (afixed on top of the Delta shield) is Minvera and Delta says, she is the sorority's mentor. But they are a Christian organization....the math does not add up. The Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG) shield also has Minerva - (interestingly enough both head are facing in the same direction which is significant). KKG has a Delta symbol with a Sigma in the middle of it....Hmmm. The flower of KKG is a fleur-de-lis (lily flower) which is a cornflower or purple-ish colored flower...and the flower of the Deltas is an African Violet. I personally feel like there are TOO many coincidences so I'll do further research. BUT yes, there is a fraternity, Delta Sigma Theta )and their shield is quite alarming). BTW both KKG and the Delta fraternity were founded in the 1800's. And the Delta sorority was founded in 1913. So the research will continue...
